Custom icons without Global Company

First of all, I'd like to apologise that this is in English and not in German, but since the opinion of my german speaking friend that read what I wrote in English and translated via google translator, was that it's a crime against the German language, I decided it will be better if I write in English.

I'm looking for a mod/way to edit game/map file, to be able to use custom icons, like the one here->GlobalCompany Addon Icons | ModHub | Farming Simulator, without having to have Global Company mod. I do vaguely recall seeing some mention about this here, but now I can't dig it up. Can you help me and tell me how I can achieve that please?

Hi,

In order to have custom icons without global company, you will have to edit the HUD files of your map by yourself. For every mod or map which use icons, there is a "HUD" folder in the zip file.

Here you will find several DDS files that you can edit to colorize them for example. In attachment you will find one exemple of a colored dds file.hud_fill_rye.dds

Thank you. I was suspecting I'll have to do this, but was waiting for someone, more knowladable than me, to confirm that.

You can use some HUD Files for MAIZE+ addons, Straw Harvest pack provided by the HoT Team here on their discord.

It will save you some work.
